Let’s talking boss babe healthy habits! Yes, you heard me!

I don’t know about you, but I sure love being a productive person (90% of the time at least 😉). As someone who loves her sleep, sometimes it takes a minute to really get that efficiency going in the morning.

Don’t we all feel the struggle?

Now, you may be a productivity machine at 7 a.m. Kudos to you! But, some people need a few little healthy habits tips to slay the day.

That’s what I’m here for gal pals! The things you do as soon as you open those eyes can either set you up for success or destruction.

Ok….I being a little dramatic! But, you get my point.

In order to be a successful boss babe, you’ve gotta act like one. That’s why I’m going to share 7 healthy habits every successful boss babe does each morning.

Start doing these things, and you will notice a positive change in your day. I can certainly tell you that.

    1. Take a Cold Shower

    There is nothing that gets you ready to conquer the day quite like a cold shower. The change in temperature just wakes you up like nobody’s business.

    If you want an added bonus, give yourself a scalp massage with a simple massaging tool from Amazon.

    Now, if you’re like me then you normally shower at night.

    Luckily for you, washing your face with cool water will give you the same effect.

    The point is that you need to do something that shocks your body and immediately gets you awake and refreshed.

    2. Avoid Electronics for the First Hour

    Let’s be real. Social media can easily get in your head and make you feel some type of way.

    So many people reach for their phones first thing when they wake up.

    No, no and no! This is a huge mistake that is only going to result tin your comparing yourself to others.

    Instead, go get some yummy breakfast, plan your day, and focus on yourself in the morning.

    Trust me, girlfriend, Instagram can wait!

    3. Get Exercising

    Pump that iron! For real, exercising is something that all boss babes out there incorporate each morning.

    Beyoncé does this. Jeff Bezos does this. Kim Kardashian does this. Need I go on?

    The reason for this is simple: exercising releases healthy chemicals in the brain that get your mind refreshed, reset, and ready to conquer the day.

    Now, this is something that may take some getting used to. Not everyone has the will to get up early and wake up back to back.

    That’s alright. Once you do it for the first time, you’ll become hooked.

    4. Actually Eat Breakfast

    Ummm…don’t be skipping breakfast. No boss babe can get things done effectively on an empty stomach.

    I don’t care who tells you otherwise. There is a reason doctors tell you to eat three meals a day. Don’t go and do the opposite (LOL).

    Your brain needs fuel to function throughout the day. That fuel comes from food- not juices, not protein powder, not a protein bar- actual FOOD.

    Even if it’s a small portion, making sure to eat a good breakfast will give you and good and healthy start to your day.

    5. Tackle the Challenges First

    Our mental energy is normally highest in the morning, unless you sleep at 4 a.m.

    So, choose the toughest thing on your to-do list for that day and tackle that first.

    That way, the rest of your day will be smooth sailing and bump-less (hopefully!!)

    For some people, their energy level is highest in the afternoon. If that’s the case for you, then just shift things around to fit your lifestyle.

    But, if you really want to be productive and get the tough things out of the way, just do them in the morning!

    6. Drink Some H2O, Not Coffee

    As tempted as some of us are to reach for the deliciously dark roast coffee, that’s a bad habit.
    Sorry, Starbucks!

    Instead, go for one (or a few) glasses of fresh water to really hydrate your body first thing. If you want to “spice” things up, you can even add fresh fruits to flavor your glass.

    In any case, fueling your body with the right ingredients will turn you into a lean, mean, fighting machine!

    7. Make A To-Do List

    Anyone who knows me already knows what I’m about to say: PLAN!

    There is nothing more calming and satisfying than knowing what is coming up in your day.

    No one likes unexpected surprises rising up, so making a list of all the day’s events will make you feel in control.

    Who doesn’t like control, right?

    Whether it’s a notes page on your phone or an old-fashioned sheet of paper, write down what you’ve got going on that day and aim to achieve them all!

    My friends, there yo go! If you really want to become a successful boss babe, these are 7 healthy habits you should start doing each morning.

    It may feel overwhelming to add these in your routine all at once, so start slow.

    Over time, you will find yourself absolutely slaying life! You can do it! Go be your own boss babe!

    I don’t think I could make myself take a cold shower lol, but I definitely need to drink more water in the morning and actually eat breakfast. Great tips!

    I think some of these are great ways to start your day, like not looking at your phone first thing in the morning. Don’t think I’d have the courage to take cold showers though!
