Hair is life. Period. I’m convinced.

I’ve always been obsessed with finding hair growth tips to show me how I can increase hair growth in a healthy way.

Luckily, there are some tips, tricks, and products out there that help enhance healthy hair growth on a daily basis.

Now, will these tips get you 25 inches of new growth overnight?

Nah. Nothing will. After all, your body has its own process for hair growth.

I’m here to give you REALISTIC tips, not put fake stuff in your head.

I’m not about that.

That being said, I’m going to share 5 realistic hair growth tips that you can try to grow your locks faster, stronger, and healthier.

1. Have a Wholesome Diet

As with literally anything, the key to any bodily improvements starts from within.

There is literally no way you will achieve healthy and fast hair growth if your daily diet sucks.

That’s just a fact.

With all these weird diets out there nowadays, lots of them tend to be restrictive.

We don’t want that.

You want to be eating healthy, nutrient-dense foods in moderation without cutting out certain food groups.

Protein is CRUCIAL for hair growth, so you want to make sure you’re getting an ample amount per day.

Other foods like berries, avocados, greens, and fish are also amazing for promoting healthy hair growth and preventing shedding.

Amen sister! No one wants to shed. No thank you!

The moral of the story is this: before you start trying hair products or anything topical, analyze your diet and make sure you are eating healthy, high-fiber foods!

You can do all the masks or oil treatments in the world, but it’ll all be in vain if your ends are fried like porcupine pricks.

If your ends are dead and split, you will lose length everyday as your tips break off.

I can’t stand when I see split ends on my hair, so I always make sure to get a small trim every 3-6 months.

In any case, you will rarely see me use any styling tools on my hair.

Instead, I make the effort to discover heat-free hairstyles that are still cute, attractive, and easy to do.

All it takes is some perusing on Youtube to find some cool ideas to try.

If you are used to styling your hair regularly, try cutting back.

I promise you the difference will be noticeable IMMEDIATELY!

5. Stop Washing Your Hair Everyday

AHHHH!! I cringe when I hear people say they wash their hair every day.

I mean CRINGE!

This is so bad for your hair, my friends.

Do you know all the harsh ingredients and chemicals that are in shampoo?

You are literally stripping your hair of its natural moisture when you wash your hair daily.

Just stop it.

It doesn’t matter whether you’ve got oily, dry, brittle, or normal hair, aim for a wash every 2-3 days.

Some people can go longer, especially if you’ve got dry hair.

I’ve got the oiliest scalp you’ll every come across. I’m talking “frying up some potatoes” type of oily.
