Yes, I’m so singing the song in my head!

Even though I love all things fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, I can’t turn down an opportunity to spill some money-making tea. I love me some side hustle ideas, and I bet you do too!

I’m definitely not the only one.

I’m a 21-year-old college gal. Money is power for me.

Who’s with me?!

If you’re reading this, you’ve probably come upon many other bloggers talking about the same topic.

“Make 50,000/Month blogging” or “Make 20,000/Month on Amazon” “Make Money with a new side business.”

Sound familiar?

By no means am I saying all of those things aren’t possible, but so many people just can’t wait 2 years to get a blog going and monetized or launch a business.

Yes, blogging and business hustles can be and are amazing.

But, sometimes we need some money fast!!

You know I’m right.

We live in a day and age where literally anything is possible to do from home.

Ok, maybe not ANYTHING but pretty much a lot (LOL)!!

So, let’s get into the 5 realistic online side hustle ideas you’ll want to try out!

1. Online Tutoring

Whether you tutor through a job website like LinkedIn and Varsity Tutors or start your own little “freelance” tutoring, this side hustle can make some big bucks.

I’ve been tutoring students in writing, essay revision, and Spanish since 2019 and it’s made me some GREAT side money.

You can charge whatever hourly rate you want, depending on your level of expertise and the student you are working with.

As a college tutor, I can make up to HUNDREDS of dollars per WEEK.

PER WEEK!!

That’s not even to mention the other side hustles combined.

You don’t have to be a professional teacher to be a tutor.

If you’re good at math, get started now.

If you’re a good writer and English student, get started now.

Don’t wait to start making that extra money.

2. Freelancing

If you feel like you’ve got a decent hold on a certain skill, freelancing would be a great option for you.

I love writing and editing, so that’s the freelancing field I use to make money.

On sites like Fiverr and UpWork, you can make a profile and start getting freelance jobs literally instantly.

As a student with a full-time student, I can always find time to take high-paying writing and editing jobs.

Just like tutoring, I can make HUNDREDS per WEEK (Again!!) being creative with my words.

You don’t have to be an expert writer or author.

Guys, I’m literally 20 (lol).

If I can do it, you can too!

You’ll be surprised how much people are willing to pay for a little writing and revision here and there 😉.

3. Find a part-time virtual job

With LinkedIn and Indeed, there is literally nothing you can’t do.

Employers from all around the country offer remote part and full-time jobs in ALL job areas.

Some are even contract-based, meaning you’ll have a bit more control over the time commitment.

You may think you don’t have time for a part-time job, but a few hours here and there can really help you earn that extra cash.

4. Babysit from home

You’ll be surprised how desperate some parents are to get rid of their kids (lol)!

All you’ve got to do is make it clear you’ll babysit from your own home if you’re not willing to commute. Who wouldn’t want to make some cash from their couch?

You can make a Care.com account for free and make a profile with your skills.

The other option is spreading the word to friends and family.

If you’re really looking for money, though, an online profile will open up more opportunities.

Some people will pay you A LOT to take their kids, so definitely make a case for yourself.

5. Take Online Surveys

Even though it isn’t the highest money-making gig, you can definitely make some extra cash taking online surveys.

Companies like Swagbucks and Inbox Dollars offer anyone the ability to make money taking surveys for different products, services, and projects.

You can literally do this from your couch with little to no effort while making some moolah!

What more could you ask for?

If you’ve been looking for realistic ways to make side money from home, I’ve just given you 5 of the top side hustle ideas out there.

Whether you do one of these or several put together, there’s no reason you should let all that extra income go.

As someone who does several of these side hustles put together, it’s definitely doable!

If I can do it as a full-time college student, so can you!

Let’s go make that moolah together, guys and gals!
